 In this masterclass, you’ll explore the modern vocal styles used in today’s musicals and learn how contemporary music theatre blends influences from pop and commercial music. We’ll work on pop and contemporary vocal techniques for the stage, helping singers adapt current vocal sounds while maintaining healthy technique.

You’ll also focus on storytelling and authenticity in contemporary repertoire, discovering how to connect emotionally and communicate character in modern musical theatre songs. The session will include guidance on developing a healthy belt, mix, and contemporary vocal tone that suits today’s repertoire.
