In this class, you’ll take a beloved Broadway song that has made its way into the JAZZ canon and transform it into your own signature performance. Through focused vocal work, you’ll refine tone, breath, phrasing, and stylistic flexibility, learning how to shift seamlessly from theatrical storytelling to the nuance and intimacy of jazz.

We’ll dig into what makes a “standard” truly timeless: text interpretation, rhythmic freedom, musical phrasing, and the art of making bold, personal choices. Expect to explore  vocal colour, and expressive freedom, all while strengthening your technical foundation.
