The other day someone asked me “what is the best broadway song to have ever been be written?” I had to think carefully about my answer, but then I churned out a list of really top ones. I chose songs that were vocally exciting to sing and perform. This list is a celebration of the incredible talent of the composers, lyricists, and the countless performers who have performed these masterpieces.

How did I choose?
