Comedic Musical Theatre Songs for Every Voice Type

One of the most requested things I do as a private voice teacher is to recommend appropriate repertoire for my students. Sometimes, I suggest songs that will challenge the singer to the next technical level they are trying to achieve. I often love to suggest music that I know will touch their soul as well. If the student has a musical theatre background, I love to suggest they look at comedic songs to work on their acting chops. A great way to show your confidence and personality is to put a comedic song in your book of repertoire.  However, finding comedic songs, in the right range and in the musical theatre cannon, can be challenging.
